SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
While working with the San Francisco 49ers, Stripe Creative Director, Ben Mayberry was able to gain a tremendous amount of experience and absorb knowledge from some of the industries brightest and most innovative professionals as well as collaborate with some of the largest brands in the world, Nike, SAP, Bud Light, Pepsi, and Levi's just to name a few. Playing many roles, from designer to creative direction, Stripe has touched all aspects of the 49ers brand.
Below you will find a small sample size of the 6 years of experience that ranged from logo development and branding, uniforms, events, social media, large scale environmentals to fully integrated advertising campaigns. Campaigns were developed as a piece of a larger, continuous brand narrative which included a constantly evolving unique visual language, copy writing and tagline development, Out-Of-Home and digital advertising, and social and website content development and creation.

The goal was to explore 49ers Alternate Uniforms which ultimately turned into the #49ersRGB, Black Alternate Uniforms. The project included uniform design, sidelines apparel design and a full launch campaign. [Launch website design can be viewed here]
The process started with exploration of all types of colors and execution. Some pushed the envelope as far as brand and design. Others were more in line with NFL Uniform regulations. The 49ers ended up somewhere in the middle.
After the first round of explorations the 49ers wanted to dig deeper on a few concepts.
Ultimately, at this point, team ownership turned the final design over to a group of players. That group of players selected the final design and the first alternate uniform in team history was launched in the 2015 season at the Monday Night Football season opener.
